Tyler Lee Butcher, 35, passed away suddenly February 13, 1990 in Salt Lake City, Utah, of natural causes.

Born April 18, 1954, Salt Lake City, Utah, to Gordon W. and Nancy West Butcher. Graduated from Skyline High School. Part owner and President of Butch's Glass, Inc. Member of M.G.A. Club. He was a many talented individual, and was at home wherever he went... his work, the golf course or just relaxing to his favorite music. He enjoyed life in general and loved his fellow man; he and his wonderful sense of humor will be greatly missed by all who knew him.Survivors include his parents Gordon and Nancy, Salt Lake City; a brother, Kit (wife Tracy), Las Vegas; a loving niece, Megan; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Graveside services will be Friday, February 16th, 10 a.m., Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park (enter at 1750 East 3300 So., then turn left). Friends may call Thursday evening from 7-9 p.m. at the Holbrook Funeral Chapel, 3251 So. 2300 East. Because of Tyler's generosity and his love of children, especially the handicapped, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Tyler's name to the Shriner's Hospital For Crippled Children (Intermountain Unit), Fairfax & Virginia Ave., S.L.C. Tyler lived just around the corner from me. His dad owed and operated "Butchers Glass" Tyler had an Uncle living with their family..Rolo West I believe was his name. My Dad was scoutmaster and Rolo was his assistant a rolly polly and very jolly Man he  loved scouting..Many found memories of Tyler and his Uncle on scouting trips..I will find some pictures and post them...
