Kevin Draper 1953 ~ 2018
West Jordan, UT-Age 64, passed away Oct.21, 2018 with family and many close friends at his side. Finally at peace. He left us here to have a fabulous reunion with those who preceded him. Born Dec. 29, 1953, to Dorothy N. Draper and Robert Grant Draper in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he grew up and resided his entire life. His childhood was spent in Millcreek Canyon, living next door to cousins and right down the lane from DD [paternal grandmother]. Preceded in death by parents and two of his furry children [beloved cats], Lucy and Elizabeth. Kevin fought a valiant fight with diabetes, along with many other health road blocks during his life. He died of heart failure. Married Wen Walters Dec. 3, 1999 in the Salt Lake Temple. Kevin enjoyed skiing, riding his motorcycle, and scuba diving in the Virgin Islands. He loved helping others when he could. Kevin was also an organ donor. Active in church his entire life serving in many positions. His last calling was for building maintenance and cleaning. He served an LDS mission to Australia in 1972-1974. Survived by his wife Wen Walters, brothers Craig, Cory and sister, Teri, [Zenger], many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many close friends. Please bring pictures, etc. for the casket decoration. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 26, 2018, 12:00 pm, with a viewing beginning at 10:30 am at River 5th Ward, 1380 West 6785 South, West Jordan, Utah. Interment will follow the service at Memorial Redwood Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
