Syracuse---Rhonda Scott Hansen, 36 passed away Sunday, January 13. 1991 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Salt Lake City.

   She was born May 23, 1954 in Salt Lake City, Utah, a daughter of Verl Franklin and Arline Martindale Scott. She married J. Craig Hansen on august 19, 1974 in the Salt lake LDS Temple. She was reared and educated in Salt Lake City, Utah and had lived in Ft Hold, Texas, Denver, Colo., Provo and Orem, Utah. She had lived in Syracuse the past 13 year.

   She graduated from skyline High School in 1972l she attended BYU and was currently attending Weber State University where she was an Honors Student majoring in Music Education. She was an active member of the Syracuse 2nd LDS Ward, and had grown up in the Canyon Rim 4th LDS Ward. She had served in the Stake Primary presidency, and ward Relief Society presidency, as Young Women’s president, on a Cub Scout Den leader, and was currently serving as Primary teacher. She was a member of the Tabernacle Choir and a member of the Layton Arts Chorale Ensemble. She had served on the Syracuse Elementary PTA board. She was a loving person to all who knew her.

   Surviving are her husband and six children, James, Heidi, Eric, Mariah, Tina and Casey all of Syracuse: her mother, Salt Lake City, five sisters and one brother, Colleen Curzon, Salem; Wendy Medford, Monroe, Louisiana; Jackie Mulcock, Paula Bjornn, Barbara Hunter, all of Salt Lake City, Richard V. Scott, Fort Worth, Texas. She was preceded in death by her father.

   Funeral services will be Thursday at 11a.m. at the Bluff Road LDS Ward Chapel, 2500 South Bluff Road, Syracuse. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main St., and Thursday at the church from 9:30-1045 a.m. Internment, Syracuse City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contribution be made to the LDS Church General Missionary Fund.
