Beloved Father and Husband

Charles Roger Woods, age 48, passed away suddenly from a heart attack January 9, 2003.

Roger was born January 16, 1954 in Salt Lake to Roger Shaw and Helen Buehner Woods. Married Michon Robinson on March 22, 1980 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Roger was active in the LDS church where he was serving as High Priest Group Leader. He served in the Caracas Venezuela Mission. His love was spending time with family and he enjoyed their talents. He loved fly fishing, camping and golf. Was a great son, brother, neighbor and friend. He always went out of his way to help those in need.

Survived by his wife, Michon; children, Brinton (Becky), Taylor (serving an LDS Mission in Maceio Brazil), Emily, Riley, Heidi, Peter; mother, Helen Woods; brothers and sisters, Ann, Sylvia (Fred) Kuhn, Howard (Sue), Nancy (Joseph Jr.) Frank, Geoffrey (Julie), Valerie (James) Lowery, Jeanette Cox; father -in- law and mother -in- law, Willis and Jackie Robinson; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, and older brother Roger Fredrick.

Funeral service will be Monday, 12 noon, at the Valley Park 7th Ward, 4986 South Valois Drive (2305 West). Friends may call Sunday, 5-8 p.m. at the McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and at the church Monday, 10:45-11:45 a.m.
