Marjorie (Margi) O. Smith

ST. GEORGE--Our loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, Marjorie Lorrene Orvin Smith, age 44, passed away on December 15, 1998 at home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with brain cancer.

Born on March 20, 1954 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Glen W. and Lorrene Howard Orvin. She was admired by many and touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She was known for her gift of listening, her caring heart, her sweet spirit and enduring patience. Her talent and hard work at Hairitage Hair Academy will not be forgotten.Survived by her awesome husband, Dewayne Smith of 12 years; daughters, Tracy, Tiffany, and Tonya Marler; stepsons, Lance (Ulrika), and Shane Smith; parents; sisters, Marsha (Kevin) Wells, Mindy (Steve) Riga, Shelly (Brian) Jeppesen; brother, Joe Orvin; grandmother, Mary Jones H. Brown; 10 nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 19, 1998, at 12 noon at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State St., where friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment Holladay Memorial Park.
